27th Annual Festival of Trees

This year's 27^th annual Festival of Trees runs from November 19^th through the 27^th. The festival is held at the Oor building located on the Illinois State Fair Grounds and helps raise money for health programs through Memorial Health System. The festival showcases trees and displays decorated by the Springfield Community. They also offer arts and crafts, train rides, concerts, and visits from Santa. The festival of trees is largely run by volunteers, with over 1,000 people donating their time each year. The festival expects to see a large turnout this season after setting an attendance record last year of 35,000 visitors.
