Shakespeare Joins UIS
Barbara HughesWorkers are gearing up for the unveiling of Shakespeare in the Garden. Tucked away behind the Brookens Library, the Fred J. Patton Park will soon be filled with the flowers and reference quotes from the plays of William Shakespeare. Students, faculty, and Springfield residents will be able to admire the works done by the poet himself and also enjoy taking a stroll through the past while coming across sights along the way, which includes the fountain, a waterfall, and maybe even some geese. The garden will be open to the public this Thursday at 1:30pm.
