Construction under way at Housing Commons

Renovations are underway at the Homer Butler Housing Commons at UIS. 

The building, known to students as HCOM, is in the final stage of a three-part renovation. The planned renovations include more offices, upgrading the heating and air, and bringing the bathrooms up to code. 

Director of UIS Housing John Ringle said the renovations consolidate housing to a single building. Renovations as slated to finish before the semester ends.
