Love Trumps Hate

Students marvel at the chalk expressions that grace the sidewalks of the University of Illinois Springfield campus. On September 11^th the night before, students felt targeted by the chalk markings of Trump supporters outside the most visible grounds on campus. Many student groups formed to take a stand, first by taking to Facebook expressing their outrage towards comments such as “Build the Wall” and “Vote Trump Never Hilary”. Students decided to express their own views proclaiming, “Hate speech is intolerable” and “Love Trumps Hate.”
