The UIS has
a new curriculum for Illinois DCFS investigators.
The
simulation house (called the Little House) is located on campus
and is only one
of two in the nation. It is staged like a real home
and there
are actors portraying parents facing a DCFS investigation.
This is especially helpful to new
investigators because it gives them
skills needed in real-life situations.
